lol, i don't edit as much as you think :P Though I only shoot in raw, sooooo when you say "unedited" you mean we are all shooting in raw and exporting from PS w/o any touchups, white balance, level adjustment, raw processing - sharpening, noise reduction, or any thing at all in the raw menu, and slide all sliders to 0? Or are you saying we can only use the camera jpeg processor? (I have never tried this on my camera, might be interesting!)

You can shoot in raw if you want or JPEG. As long as there is no post-production done by you. Shooting in raw would be pretty unnecessary though.

You can also do touchups on your camera, so are you saying everyone should put sharpness, contrast, and color tones ON CAMERA to 0? Most people have this set to +20% or so by factory default. Tell me what you want and ill just mimick in light room. Lightroom does the same thing as your jpeg processor in your camera. And as I have never used jpeg I need to know what settings you are using :P

I would be embarassed to post in here... I honestly dont even worry about the original anymore as I have become so reliant on Lightroom... my un-edited's are crap.

I guess playboy is digital art. Stephen Wayda is one of the best people photographers I've seen and he uses Photoshop to the max so what does that make him, what I'm trying to prove here is this a nut swing fest of bs, who cares if it's edited. It's still a jpeg and always will be. Slashendrant

I wouldn't call anything playboy related photography. They are notorious for editing shit til it's not even realistic.

I don't get why your little head can't wrap around the idea that some of want to see what other guys can do without editing. Are you worried that someone might actually be good at something you're not?

Editing is one skill set, taking a good artistic photo is another.

I don't see why there is a bit of debate about it in this thread.

Unedited means only what the camera is capable of, not the "after the shot" software/computer.

gay editing ^ needs less saturation, brightness, shade, blackness, and rainbow sugar plum drops.

i was thinking im putting a drop in sky and a fake lens flare, but thatd make me a big flaming bitch, oh wait :D

As an unbiased person who lives in Ohio and has only met Charles before, you guys do a lot of bitching. I take criticism very well because I know what I am looking for out of the photo, if someone else doesn't like it, oh well. I learn from my mistakes and do take into consideration what others have to say. Unless you are getting paid and that person is looking for something in particular, do what you want, and don't get butt hurt when someone calls you out for something they don't like if you like what you did.
