INTEGRA DC2 09-10-2009 12:53 PM

a drill with a spot weld drill bit, you will only need 1 bit if its a good bit

RedEk 09-10-2009 06:50 PM

ill try the PCP one FTW

crxb16t 09-11-2009 11:14 AM

a plasma cutter. 2 minutes, and its dunn.a drill ull be there all day.they make them so small that u can just carry it around

die in a dick fire noob 09-11-2009 01:34 PM

yeah see if u pull it yard is gonna let you take a fuckin plasma cutter in... yeah... wow.

a drill and some good bits takes you about 45 minutes, make suer to bring a couple extra batteries.

i did it in the chandler yard one day and we spent an hour cus we broke 4-5 drill bits, they were not good.

only charged me 26 dollars too.

crxb16t 09-11-2009 01:58 PM

they will here in tucson. a drill is for bitches. i have one thats backpack size, and can take one off in 3 mins.

Chinky 09-11-2009 03:01 PM

plasma cutter? right cause that's a cheap item to purchase for the sole purpose of removing a core support...

SlowLS 09-11-2009 03:11 PM

Im sure you can rent one at home depot or something

MHSigns.com 09-12-2009 12:07 AM

Even if you cut it off. You would still have to drill out the spot welds so it can be re-welded again. Cutting it off would be pointless.

:rflmao:
at this guy with the noob post count.
pretty much the yards on the west sdie and east side wont allow that is. i used one dewalt carbine drill bit to remove my oem one here and it took not even 30mins. like statik said bring extra batteries and wd40 to spray the bits when you drill. i dont know why but that shit works. a spot weld cutter is good too.

92BlackEgMTX 09-12-2009 08:49 PM

nope no plasma cutters here at the depot rental..

crxb16t 09-13-2009 10:43 AM

im by far not a noob.im just sayn that its easy to do that way.

MorningWood 09-15-2009 11:19 AM

hes saying your a noob to the site everyone is at there own level

EMPYRE 09-15-2009 01:05 PM

hes deff not new to the scene just new sign on name

jcamacho 09-17-2009 09:12 AM

Heat kills drill bits. WD40 cools the bit as it cuts.

EK9RIDER 09-17-2009 07:29 PM

just go to autofit on 19th ave and buckeye they are 65$ i think

buffalostyle 09-20-2009 01:13 PM

go to FREDS on 23rd and deer valley. they have one there and they will just cut that bitch off with a torch. they cut it off a foot back on the frame rails. better than sitting there at the junkyard and drillin out the spot welds
