Interior lights and windshield wiper don't work
 

Ever since I pulled a "portalac rechargeable battery" pack from the inside of my 98 civic dx none of my interior options work? The pack only had 2 wires one red and one ground.
The red wire was originally connected to a white wire with a red stripe running along the side of my door panels and the other wire was grounded.
That was about a month ago but now that I got it reinstalled none of the interior works, fuses under dash are good. The white and red wire isn't getting any power though. Any ideas on what could be wrong?
