ek-juan 04-25-2007 11:48 AM

That fuckin sucks bro, that was such a nice car.........Hope you get it back......

:( :(

NINE7DB7 04-25-2007 11:51 AM

damn, besdides the wheels, that thing was fuckin sexy. I got $20 bux says it was someone on this site, that either A) got your plate# from the pics or B) posed as a potential buyer, got your address and snaked it.

ek-juan 04-25-2007 12:06 PM

X2 THAT'S WHY I AM THINKING TWICE ON SELLING CARS IN AZHT AND ALSO BRINGING PEOPLE TO MY HOUSE... IT'S BEST IF YOU MEET THEM SOMEWHERE WHERE IT'S BUSY AND MAKE SURE THEY DON'T FOLLOW YOU HOME....BUT SHIT HAPPENS AND WE CANT STOP IT.... UNFORTUNATELY .........

DeeDub 04-25-2007 12:15 PM

fuck! what area was it taken from?

any security?

SiR Mikey 04-25-2007 12:23 PM

People just need to be smart when they sell cars, thats all it boils down to. Thieves are everywhere, not just AZHT. Nothing is stopping them from looking on craigslist or autotrader and meeting you. Just because you post pics on the internet, doesn't mean thieves are going to magically right click the picture and your address is going to pop up. Don't post any pictures of your car parked in front of a house. Just from his pictures I can see part of his address "1103". People need to blur their license plate, or even throw a towel over it. And most importantly, don't meet people at your house. Meet them at the closest mall or something similar, and WATCH for people following you. Not just the person you met up with, but any random car.

I'm not trying to bash this guy, I really feel bad for him. I know what it's like to have something so important taken from you and I wish him the best of luck. I just think people need to think before they post their car for sale and go and blame the thieves when it gets stolen. We do live in Arizona.

Jermo537- Did you have full coverage? Any security?

ek-juan 04-25-2007 12:29 PM

I agree....
Thanks for clearing it up.....
Just makes me mad when I see THREADS like this...
I had three cars stolen and it fuckin sucks.....
Once again JERMO537 good luck and hope you get it back...

SiR Mikey 04-25-2007 12:36 PM

Yea I know how it is. Back when we used to race we had our truck and race trailer stolen. The thieves backed my dads truck out of the driveway, hooked it up to the trailer and left. It's one of the worst feeling coming out to nothing but a car in the driveway. I really hope this guy gets his car back, it looks like there was a lot of time and money put into it :(

Jermo537 04-25-2007 12:58 PM

i think i might be the biggest retard on azht.net right now...

first off i had liability and just upgraded to full coverage so it probably wont be covered..

and when i wrecked it somehow the alarm was fucked up and never engaged...nice steal for whoever got it...fags

plus i have had some sketchy calls on it becuase it is in the auto trader but i didnt tell them what my exact address was...only that i lived off baseline and rural...

Jermo537 04-25-2007 01:00 PM

thats exactly what i think they did...i was up til 2AM and my window to my bedroom is broken so i hear everything but heard nothing...im the only bedroom at the front of the house...plus my roomate was up til 3am so it had to have happend between 3-9am cuz i walked outside to go to my doctor apt at 9am...thanks guys for the help this car is def one you can spot a mile away..thank god i left the gay white wheels on there lol

Chiodos 04-25-2007 01:05 PM

*inFamous* 04-25-2007 01:33 PM

damn sux to see another one go man. hope you find some of this stuff. its probably someone on this site. nothing to do about it though :( bleh

KingDingaLing 04-25-2007 02:08 PM

damn that sux man, that thing was clean. its wierd that some have had many cars stolen, and some have been lucky enough to not get touched. ive sold many hondas on here. and ive owned a shitload. not one has ever been stolen, and i whore my cars on 24 hr photo all the time.

SED 04-25-2007 05:46 PM

Shitty bro.... hope you find it.

tuybotom 04-25-2007 05:52 PM

same shit happened to me in december! the first time i put my car up for sale anywhere, it gets jacked a fucking week later! :whatever: im over it now!

onemisledyuth 04-25-2007 06:14 PM

another lesson learned. when you post on this site, considering there are so many known theives on here....you have to meet them at random places, and be very impersonal about it all

RhdRicheeee 04-25-2007 06:16 PM

fuck man

91teg 04-25-2007 06:56 PM

that is one of the main reasons i move back to my home town... my car got jacked, and returned a week later untouched.... Good luck man

stillfading99 04-25-2007 07:15 PM

no way man!!! :(

Jermo537 04-25-2007 09:24 PM

yeah phoenix is fuckin awesome...this is the worst thing that has happened to me yet

Jermo537 04-26-2007 12:50 PM

dont know if i should add this but the license plate is 534-PLC..thanks for watchin out guys this is an extremely devastating loss for me

Rufus 04-26-2007 01:16 PM

Backup alarm battery, pager and multiple hidden sirens FTW.

SiR Mikey 04-26-2007 01:19 PM

And hood pin/mercury sensor

Rufus 04-26-2007 01:24 PM

Need em on the hood, trunk and both doors.

I had an air horn on mine. Neighbors fuckin hated me if I accidently set it off while it was out front.

Chinky 04-26-2007 01:41 PM

what's a mercury sensor?

Rufus 04-26-2007 01:53 PM

When the mercury inside of the switch moves it activates the alarm, so if the car is moved the alarm is activated.

I wonder if thefts would decrease substantially if immobilizers had been installed in the early 90's...

97BaggedDually 04-26-2007 01:59 PM

damn rufus, let me know where you got all this stuff, cuz i want to buy this shit, i'm currently looking for this kind of stuff..lmk pm me or somthing

Rufus 04-26-2007 02:04 PM

Go to an alarm shop and tell them you want an alarm that rivals the value of your car itself.
