Autozone sells the small pieces of metal tubing that are the perfect diameter for about $2 each.

EFinyouup 02-23-2012 03:34 AM

They look pretty good

Efsedan08 02-23-2012 08:03 AM

Great DIY

I had my last set done with stainless tubbing...looked better than aluminzed exhaust pipe.

All_motor_mike made them up for me. About $60 to do all 4 and I just supplied the stock tophats.

looks nice.... great DIY..

Smashinhatch 11-08-2012 08:47 PM

Just did this. Now my upper control arms are on the body already but it rides way better. Only problem is I switched from 55 tires to 50 in front on a fat drop. My EF bumper with barley any lip is like 1¼ off the ground and I can't slide my key under my header:smackself:

Just got a extra set of top hats..... anyone interested in helping a track junky out and making me some i can supply carne asada and beer ;) lol

failedabortion 11-23-2012 09:56 PM

Deadbird can't make them?

I could if you wanted to drop them off at my work tonight and would have to find the right size tubing tomorrow and pick them up from my work Sunday( I live in surprise and work in Glendale which is probably closer for you). Also wouldn't be tig'ed like the ones all_motor_mike did for me in the pics above though.

EVOKLR 11-24-2012 08:05 PM

If I don't have the tube is scrap at my work I'll be buying some next week. I will be making 2 sets. One fOr the db7 and one for extra/sale. If your still in need chef contact me next week and I'll see what the plan is and if I can help out.

ILUVMYDC2 12-03-2012 07:22 PM

Chef 12-27-2012 02:25 PM

honduh_head 12-27-2012 02:52 PM

there are a TON of good fabricators in the valley... stop being cheap and go to them to get it done.

Nando1 01-23-2013 01:47 AM

I'm gonna try this on my 5th generation Accord .....

Nando1 01-23-2013 02:18 AM
