Type S HIDs
 

Hey guys, just curious for any recommendations on sum HIDs for my 02 type S. Not wanting to spend waaay too much, but want sum good quality. All the websites seem to confuse me quite a bit. Lookin to do sum purple HIDs. so any tips or directions would be appreciated.

don't get purple, they irritate other drivers and don't even light the road effectively

I got 6k from vvme for $40 shipped. they are great! been running them for 2 years now.

what wattage do i want?

55watt so they light up the road well, just make sure they are aimed properly

the higher the K rating the lower the light output.

as far as the color temp, dont get above 8k please lol. 6.5k is the best IMO. It gives you a high end look

DDM tuning... good product and warranty. Gop for the 5K to keep it bright and clean and the 55W setup. Its hella bright!

I have heard good things about it but my friend bought a kit off them and it didn't work after we correctly wired it, took it to some shop people told us these affordable kits are problematic. But my friends experience was for his tc though

If your in Phoenix you can drive to mesa and either go to built by notorious or no limits they are both kick ass shops I just got hids for mine at no limits for 65 bucks and they're goods quality not shitty by any means
