Who welds roll cages around here??
Hi guys, I am moving to the Phoenix area next month. Looking to get my Art Morrison 8pt roll cage welded in. It is built specifically for my car (99 EK COUPE), they make the ends a bit longer to trim down and fit to the driver (i.e. height, length, etc). Needs to be notched and welded in. I have the front windshield removed, I want the dimple/die notch plates on the A-pillars added. I was quoted $30 for the A-pillar dimple/die plates which seems like a decent price.
So who on the side or which shop is trustworthy to notch and weld in my cage? Price quotes? Pics of previous work would be great to see in advance. Thank you in advance :wave1: |

Thanks guys! Slepyef, do you have any pics of the traction bar he made for you? Mainly of the weld quality? Just trying to get an idea of his welds :)

I've seen a cage effective welded for someone close up and the welds looks great both cosmetically and structural.

Oh sweet. I met RC at WekFest San Fran 2 years ago, nice guy. I'll hit him up and see if he is up to it! Thanks!

RC doesn't do cages, he referred me to a friend however. Thanks again guys!

all_motor_mike, how much do you typically charge for an 8pt with "x" bar in the main hoop brace added. I have all the bars already. Mild steel. I'd be bringing you a complete shell, no interior, no front windshield, no wire harnesses inside. Stripped and prepped for welding. Typical price for welds?

future fabrication !!
