02 LANCER, wiring help?
 

I'm trying to put a amp in. Does anyone know if it matters if i connect the remote wire to the Ignition or the battery wire?

You hook the big ass red wire or sometimes blue wire to your batterie terminal under the hood.

Your power wire connects to the positive battery terminal under the hood.
Then you have to run it through your firewall, Hide it, and Run it to your trunk.

Oh damn. Sorry about that. I meant the remote wire from the amp.. where does the other end go to? or which would it be best for. my car is a stick.

Do you have an after market sterio? If so its a blue wire thats from the harness that you wire that to. If you dont you may need and adapter witch sometimes cost as much as and headunit

the remote to your amp is switched 12 volts. find the blue/black accessory wire in your ignition harness and use that

^^^that will work, it might be easier to tap the the wire behind the deck since your already back there, you can use the stereo accessory wire or the remote turn on wire. if its an aftermarket deck the acc. wire will be red and the remote turn on wire will be blue (or blue/white depending on brand). whatever you decide try and use an acc. wire that coresponds with the radio so not to interfere with other components of the elec. system and to make sure the amp only turns on with the radio

goes to blue amp turn on,,,,behind the aftermarket radio
