12k/10k with sways and most of it poly with traction bars is on point!!! Love my set up actually....using R6's and A6's.......come out and paly with us aaron ....atleast 1 event, or ride along..... |

I did a Comp test on my lil 1.5 before the event.....175-180psi all accross.....leak down was funky and pretty much said my head was bad....
Now what to do??? Vtec Head that Mugg.....or Mill the head, and do springs/retainers and BIGGER cam, and stay NON-Vtec with High Comp and maybe 7.5k redline making power all the way up to 7.2k vs 6.8k now....LOL |
im going to fix it and put it back together and see how it does for now. im going to save up for a swap though. something i dont have to worry about for a while :pissed:

I think if I can get Joe to tune me, along with some bigger injectors I can get bigger #'s as is........
I already have a stage 1 came for an A6.....used the y7 cam gear for timing purposses.... Do you know who Mista Bone is?? I want his set up prettty much, its who I copy......or base my motor off of...... I know I can reach 130whp/110lbs with a TUNE!!!! we'll see.... Sponsor BBN, really wants me to crack VTEC!! |

I washed mine saturday night. Havent washed it since the santan meet last november. It was dirty!

flushed and changed the oil. I didn't like how the oil looked at 2500 miles. looked a little to dark for me, i flushed it with 12qrts of fresh oil. Looks good now. i will see how it looks in another 2500 miles.

hahahah, no, just one. I drive from phoenix to mesa everyday for work so my car does alot of stop and go and idling in the shitty I-10 traffic. Not good on the engine. I was bored at work so i checked my oil and it was getting pretty dark. So as i drained it at work, i lowered the drain bucket as low as it can go and lowered the car ontop of it. stood on the rag can and pumped 12 quarts of oil into it with the oil gun while the drain plug was out.
One of the perks of working at the dealership. Use bulk oil to flush and use the good oil for fill. I get free valvoline durablend oil and free oil filters at my work, so i change my oil quite frequently. |
You can definately reach those numbers with a good tune. Maybe s200 would help? I thought stock injectors are good for like 200hp?
Whos this mista bone guy? I wanna check out his setup. Vtecs fun and you could make a little more power, but why not build a wicked high compression non-v? |

Depends on your definition of clean...
But my last oil change at 3k, the oil had just started to darken. Definitely wasn't anything to be worried about. |

Yeah, I dd mine. does alot of stop and go driving with alot of idle soaking from driving on the 10 at rush hour traffic. It was getting dark.
I change it often cause i can and it free for me. I like the fact that when i pull my valve cover, my head looks like it was just cleaned. i have minimal wear marks on my cams and my vtec crossover is smooth and doesn't pop loud(which if it does, it make be "cool" but it is actually bad). I have 80k on my stock engine and it doesn't burn a lick of oil. It also feels very strong still and idles smooth as shit. I decarb it once a month and flush all fluids usually every 3 months. My car will not break down on me anytime soon. |

SO cleaned up the garage.......I have 3 motors.....
Only 1 more event before summer break for the Track season.....Inde @ the end of the month....motor is doing good, and set up is pretty mint at this point..........lots of work/hours this season before, during, and after events.....LOL BUT, I'm loosing to an Rx8.....LOL...Yes an 8 in HL4......... So need to figure out what to do......I have a y8 long block that ran when pulled just over heated (HG probably)........I also have a high mileage LS long block............trying to figure out which route to go...... What ya'll think???? Besides learning how to drive better, how can I beat the 8?? swap? mini me what?? LOL |
