i dont know much about decks but does anyone have any good recommendations for decks?

i really like pioneers unless someone has some convincing advice to go else where

i just want something that has ipod control, sub outs, and can control display color

was looking at the deh--6200bt but i cant change the display and that might be a deal breaker :(

any help is appreciated thanks

In my opinion I think pioneer is the best ,but they usually never have color changing display.in that case I would probably go with an alpine deck those are nice also.

I have alpine bro and have never had any problems, it has the ipod connection and to changing the settings are pretty easy as well.

pioneer all the way!! make sure its a higher model than 6700's !! they have more features

Do your shopping at onlinecarstereo.com, then when you find what you want search for it on amazon. It will save you money. But onlinecarstereo.com has a huge selection with very detailed descriptions. You really cant go wrong with Kenwood, Alpine or Pioneer tho. Ive had all 3 and never had problems.

DONT DO IT! I bought this same one and had to return it because only the left outputs worked. They sent me another and it had the same problem. So actually I have had problems with Pioneer lol sorry for the confusion.

EDIT: and the volume knob sucks dick. Its not even a knob, its a fuckin joystick.

Thats the problem with the newer model pioneers.they have that joystick knob thing.on my deck when I want to go into setting sometimes I accidently change the track bc its kinda tricky to get it just right.

did you get this one? cause there are 3 models that look like this, this is the higher one.

To be honest I dont remember the exact model, but it was hd radio/sat radio/bluetooth ready and looked exactly like this one. It was the top model when I bought it about 8 months ago.

lame video i ran across when looking for reviews but through the vid you can see there is at least 3 that look the same

The music in that video made me LOL. But yeah it probably was a fluke anyways. Besides those 2 decks Ive never had a problem with pioneer.

Pretty sure I have the 6200 in my car now(will double check later), can't change the backlight colors...but the lower end ones can. I play pandora or throw in a usb drive 99% of the time so can't comment on the ipod control. Its nice for a pioneer and so far hasn't shown problems with the cd rollers that the older pioneers have had.
