Stripped spark thread with out removing head ? *help*
 
Does any one on here know of a shop that could rethread my spark plug since its stripped with out taking the head off ?

Just run on 3 cylinders , it's a honda you'll be fine lol for reals though take it to bbn , i really don't see a clean way of rethreading it without having to take the head off.

That happen to me. I think at the time they charged me $100 to get it rethreaded. Don't know where your located but I got it done at Japanese Engine Works right off I-17 and Bethany Home.

its not hard to do your self i do it all the time especially on ford triton motors just get the right size tap i have a snap on set that works great but the oem ones work good for a couple uses just dip the tap in a little bit of wheel bearing grease so you can catch alot of the shavings just take your time and work in it and out blowing off the tap after a few times and redipping it in grease then take a long neck blown gun and make sure you blow the cylinder out extremely well i personally slide my borescope in the cylinder after words to double check there's no shavings in them then i take some red loctite and put it on the out side of the helicoil and screw it in with the tool then i wait a few minutes before i screw in the new spark plug
