so i got a 95 eg and two times in the last three months i have had my window popped off the tracks and my stereo taken!..... so i was wondering if anybody knows of a way to prevent that...... i already have a gate... and a rotty...haha that dont work any suggestions?

sell your car, or move

get an alarm, a removable steering wheel, and a pedal lock. thats what i plan on doing. also, maybe you just shouldn't have a stereo in your car since thats why it is getting broken into. just be thankful they didn't steal your car. oh, and just so you know this is going to get moved

if u have a gate and a rotty u need to start looking at ur own friends i know its a shitty thing to say but how do u get past a rotty and know u can jump the gate with out wakeing anyone up in the house if u have done it before or been there before

yeah i figured it might get moved after i posted i thought.... and yeah thats what im thinking it has to be friends...the first time i had 2 twelve in alpines get taken only had them 2 days??? didnt even bump!..... but theres nothing u can do to reinforce the brackets inside to keep it from poping off track?... id rather have it break the window...makes more noise!

motion sensor alarm maybe that could help kinda obvious they dont want the car they keep gettting your stereo by the way it sounds it sucks man

yeah and i dont understand cuz the new stereo i put in is a piece of shit and insurance paid for an alarm but its a pos to only goes off if the doors open(driver & passenger) what if they go through the hatch? haha ima try to get a viper alarm so it will alert me i guess .... just sucks i HATE theives:boxer:

you can get window sensors for the rear hatch.. ive seen a few people shave the key hole on the hatch and use 4door rear door handles with no key holes so you cant use a key to get in the car period. but a viper alarm and a sensor on your windows, hood, hatch, etc with be your best bet

maybe get a spot light on your house like one of those huge flood lights maybe that will scare them away or just tint your windows so they cant see in them or do what i do hide it in the garage thats the best way i have a garbage deck that i dont really care if some one takes it.........
