Fitness thread 2016
New year is here! :)
Same as last thread just thought i get it started this year since i have a few goals this year too. Post them up brah! |
Currently prepping for a marathon of 5 mile i know not a lot of runners on here but its my stress reliever. If i can get 5 miles down half way through the year i will go for a 8 mile around fall.
I recently also purchased a foam roller from target and MY GOD i wish i knew the wonders of rolling years ago!! |
I run regularly, I was training for the P.F Changs Marathon but decided not to do it this year.
In fact I'm going for a 4 mile run in a few min! |
I'm going to start training for the az police physical training.
Goals for/ by 2017: Running 1.5 miles under 10 minutes 55 sit-ups in a minute At least 99 push ups for my limit. And climb a 6' wall. All in a day |

Ill be doing some sort of 5k run this year. My wife is trying to get my step daughter to loose a little weight and she said if i joined she do it. So i guess ill be training for that.

Sometime this year I'll be doing the full marathon and hopefully towards fall a 50 miler could be in the works

I actually just filed a lawsuit in small claims court against 24 hour fitness. They called us to see if we wanted to be LA fitness members as they sold their clubs in AZ to LAF so we opted out. They said no money would be refunded. The plan we were on required first and last months dues. The club we went to reopened its doors as LA fitness a week after they billed my account. They owe us 2 months dues by my figures.
Me too, just in time to get the free pizza, then I cancel. I repeat this every month. |
I still play racquetball, but not too often to protect my knees.
I am also in a dojo now learning Krav Maga the exercise regiment is fun and tough |

Sup dewds? I've spent the last few years distracted with work. My bodies in the process of being rebuilt but this time I'm focusing on functional strength and cardio instead of just mass asthetics. It's funny how things change as you age.

In a few months. I'll build something decent again. At the moment I'm doing a lot of hiking and working out on my bowflex. Anyone else on here hike much? I've done most of the local mountains

Passionately hate hiking, girlfriend loves it. I however, LOOOOOOOOOOOOVE mountaining biking those same trails. Thunderbird mountain is my favorite.
If you havent tried it you should give it a whirl. It is the cheapest rollercoaster thrill I've experienced yet. |
