Removal Of flat black paint???
 

I am new here and i got a 94 accord that i just bought and last owner spray painted the entire car with flat black paint and it looks terrible and its fading and you can see the nice metallic red is starting to show through... so how can i get the black of without hurting the original finish... Any ideas??? :smackself::smackself:

Carefully wet sand it? Oven cleaner will work also but you have watch it carefully. Google should help you find out what oven cleaner works best.

I've had good luck with good ol' rubbing alcohol, but you would need alot of it for the entire car.
