Hx exhaust to EX
 

So I'm not new to Hondas but I am new to the Hx model, I know it has the catalytic converter on the manifold just like the y7 does. I have the code that my cat is bad but I figured it's and any time to swap it over to the ex exhaust.

Question does it have to be ex only in the ek years for manifold + cat or can I use like eg manifold and cat since it's under the vehicle already?

The o2 sensor harnesses from password jdm does anyone know if it does the 5 wire or any companies that make that?

I have a Y8 swap in my CX hatch. The primary 02 sensor is at the end of the exhaust manifold/header. Since your primary o2 sensor is in the front with the integrated cat/exhaust manifold the wires would probably need to be extended if you convert everything to EX exhaust. I was able to buy an extension harness for $20 on amazon when I wanted a little bit more length. This would probably work for you. The only thing is the EX exhaust manifold does not have a cat so you would need one and have it welded by an exhaust shop. I had a cat welded up for $260 and a secondary 02 sensor was about $120 from autozone.

This route may not be the most "earth friendly" solution. But you can run a fouler on the secondary O2 without a cat. However, I highly recommend an exhaust shop welding a cat on for you.

Is it for the primary 5 wire o2 sensor or the secondary 4 wire one? I'm picking up the 92-95 cat and catback from cbaracing this weekend in Gilbert so if you have the other harness I could swing by Mesa and meet with you as well then just order a cheap eBay header for a 92-95 civic to match the cat.
