Idle problems!

When my car is running the rpms will run from 0-2000 and back down to 0, repeatedly. I was told previously it might be the IACV but where is it located on a 95 civic? And if I just clean the IACV will it help?

Idle air is located next to the tps on the back side of the intake manifold...it has two coolant hoses coming off it and a 2pin connector...

Start your car and unplug the idle air control and see if it changes...possibly bad iacv or wiring.

Do you have a cel light on? if so check it and post it...

Also, if you have a "coldstart valve" located under the throttle body...it will also cause a vacuum leak and will surge idle..

How to fix cold start... take it off, remove the two 8mm screws and turn in the white plug looking thing in till its tightened back down again.
