Questions on z6 block y8 head<---Help wanted

Alrighty, So I have looked into alot of other forums for insight on swaping a "d16y8" block for a z6 block and mating them together with a y8 head. I understand its possible and is done all the time.

What i know

1. Z6 head studs "ARP" need, Closest to vtec noid must be y8.
2 New headgasket "y8 or z6"
3. Use complete y8 Head AKA Timing belt cam, cam gear
4 Wiring of crank sensor "tricking ecu"

What i dont know is how to bypass the knock sensor since the z6 doesnt have one

I Have a complete y8 motor and a complete z6 motor so all parts are there, This is going into a 2000 civic ex OBD2 "I only want to swap bottom ends because my y8 cranks key hole has stripped out.

1. how will this combo affect emissions
2. Has anyone had problems or past experience with this swap.
3. What am i Missing here?
4 Will i have to do anything with the ECU

Situation 2

1. Would it be better just to swap out the crank from the z6 into the y8?

Swap over the knock sensor.

If no CEL then it'll pass emissions.

The z6 Does not have a knock sensor in it from the factory "There is no hole for it"
