my rex is acting like crap it has a long crank time and some times while cranking it stops and sounds like air is forced out as if a spark pulg is gone it will run but i have to have it at a higher idle i know it is the dizzy for the shity idle but is also causing the air sound and it is d15 dpfi

are all the spark plugs gettin spark,and are they good?troubleshooting id start with the cheapest first it also sounds like it could be a idel/timingl hinse the air sound could be the exhaust vaulves opening too soon....hmm how long has it done this for???

check the timing belt
timing belt=compression

throw it away and make sure u tell statik where u dumped it at, lol,
on a serious note, you should check all of the stuff mentioned above. timing and compression, if its a dpfi and you have a mpfi engine, i doubt it will run nice

wouldn't the air coming from the spark plugs be a bad spark plug tube seal?? just curious..

how much volts is left on your battery??? I would imagine with all that long cranking your battery is pretty much around 10v???

it dont matter right now caues the starter is broken and the battery is fine i had it hock up with jumpers i will check most of that stuff to day
