Neither do I but you are really selling yourself short by having such a limited amount of equipment.
I guess I feel if I am going to put the work in I want to at least make the best out of my effort. When I didn't train with other people I would go at like 5am or super late at night and there was like no one there. Yeap. I literally would never leave my house if I could.lol |

did rack deadlifts today. got up to 405 did 5 sets of 8 but fuck my grip just kept going out. Hopefully my weight keeps going up cause I was weak today.
But I did some bent over rows with 225 so that was a good sign! form could of been better but wanted to feel that weight. Broke the lat pull down at the gym lol. |
Do you use mix grip, or double overhand?

Buy some chalk if you don't use it already. Your forearms will catch up quickly, just stay away from straps. I used to just load the bar up with weights and hold it as long as possible, and repeat until my grip was completely gone. And how the F did you break the lat pulldown?!

very true but i like the comfort of being in my own home, if im not seeing the results i want then ill highly consider joining a gym

What area of "the trap" do you live in? I go to 24hr fitness for that reason, go late have the whole place practically to myself.

I got my gym membership to Golds but still havent gone yet. Still working out at home. I just dont want to be around anyone. Hopefully i can put that to the side and get into Golds.

double over hand for everything Dorian Yates style yo!!! Never did mix grip deads. Chalk is what I need. I actually feel like I have pretty good grip strength, just sucks that doesnt correlate to forearm size like my friend. Fucker has some gigantic forearms but his grip strength sucks ass lol. |
ohh forgot to mention I travel a lot for work. I am currently in nashville right now, so its kinda hard carrying my gym equipment with me. I got more important shit to worry about then my gym shit to be honest.

yuup i do the hook/ I was told it was called olympic grip been doing it ever since I learned and my thumb is numb to it now.
exactly I try to carry the least amount of stuff spec. I travel that much now. Whats nice now is I have like perks and usually can zip through lines cause I get to go through the faster one. I might just end up going back to using the little kids chalk again lol. |
