99 hatch high idle
 

I have a 99 hatch stock motor. Not throwing any codes. Last couple weeks at cold start it has been around 1500 rpm, then warms up and goes down to proper idle. Last couple days up to like 2000, and then back down when it warms up. Maybe the iacv? Thanks in advance for any help/advice.

IACV could be clogged. Clean it with q-tips. Doesn't sound too abnormal.. It's colder now.

Fitv controls idle when it its cold. Iacv when it is warm. Ive heard that there is an adjusting screw inside the fitv(fast idle thermal valve) that you can mess with. It is on the bottom of the throttle body. Hope this helps

take the two philips head screws off the fast idle valve and use a large flat head and screw the whole thing down until it bottoms out put phillips head screws back on and see how it does
