EK rear trailing and compensator arm questions

Hi guys,

Yes I've searched but with no luck on my specific questions.

1. A lot of places reference a Honda specific bushing extractor for the trailing arm. Is there a way to do it with a ball joint press on the car?

2. When getting an alignment I was told the compensator arms were bad. Are these arms interchangeable with the DC rear disc conversion I just bought?

Any help is appreciated especially if you have the bushing extractor I could borrow!!!

Thank you

1. There's a how to on YouTube where a guy uses a brass hammer to tap out and in the bushing.
2. The bolts are 100% interchangeable. Just did a conversion myself and bolts are the same.

Thanks! I realize the bolts are interchangeable, I meant the arm. I corrected my original post

I use a air hammer to bust them out, super quick and easy. Then i put the new bushing in the hole, clamp one side down with the biggest set of channel locks and hit the other side with an air hammer, they slide right in. Make sure you stick those bushings in the freezer for a few hours, they will shrink a bit so that helps when going in. use lots of wd-40, piece of cake. the dealer i worked at had the tool but was a pain in the a$$.
