Pull the injector and make sure it is spraying correctly. Maybe it is stuck shut or squirting instead of misting

Bad rings or head gasket?#

CB7_PHX 03-04-2014 08:43 AM

I would check your injector.. maybe a valve adjustment.. I remember when I put a block back together one time the head was fresh out the machine shop I had zero compression in a cylinder and low in the others and after the valve adjustments it was all high..

CB7_PHX 03-04-2014 08:45 AM

Or maybe your spark plug is fucked up or wire..

LS-S DA9 03-04-2014 12:54 PM

Valve adjustment about 3 months ago. Already tried new plug and wire seems to be same spark as the other 3.

Running id injectors as your sig says?
If so are you running at least a 40 micron filter?
If not you definitely clogged one.

LS-S DA9 03-04-2014 05:54 PM

im running a 10 im swapping injectors tomorrow to see if it follows injector..

BDD 03-05-2014 08:42 PM

You need more the a 40 micron filter to protect your injectors.... but I'm sure you know this already

LS-S DA9 03-05-2014 08:58 PM

im personally going to run it with my current (oem replacement) which i believe is a 10..

BDD 03-05-2014 09:32 PM

Sounds like your on the right track. 6-10 micron is what you need post pump/pre injector. A 40 micron would be accepitable if you had a carburator, lol.

LS-S DA9 03-05-2014 09:39 PM

oh wait i just looked... i nee to actually buy a LESS micron filter if it is clogged... 40 is going to let more shit through than my current...

C.R.A.Y. 03-05-2014 09:43 PM

40 pre pump, 10 after. guess i cant make a typo.
nice to see t04 is bitter i made fun of his shitty welding still

LS-S DA9 03-05-2014 09:46 PM

ooooh ok so i cant read either..

BDD 03-05-2014 09:57 PM

Haha nice try at covering up your "typo"

1. What does the pre pump filter have to do with the injector filter.

2. You cant choose your filter micron on an intank pump, correct?

3. I'm not but hurt I'm sick of you trying to slam me when you have little to no knoweldge about me never seen my welds in person, and try to troll every post I make. I actually find it flattering, and anytime you want to put up your pos cars againt mine instead of internet racing you let me know.

Edit and 4. If your talking about pre pump filters for an external pump that you can actually choose filter microns, you would want a 75 to a 100 micron pre pump. Man your full of yourself...

LS-S DA9 03-05-2014 10:00 PM

anyway..... i hope its an injector but wont know how to prevent it again in the future so far....

BDD 03-05-2014 10:08 PM

Do what I said in the pm and you'll be fine. You issue may not even be injector related. You wont know untill you have the injectors checked out.

LS-S DA9 03-05-2014 10:17 PM

if its not an injector i give the fuck up and probably parting out...

LS-S DA9 03-09-2014 04:35 PM

well news is the injector was reading all over the place. it was cleaned and nothing changed.. i ordered a new one and should be here wednesday.. better solve the problem damnit!!

LS-S DA9 03-14-2014 08:24 PM

SPOKE TO SOON! looks like it ate another injector on cylinder one... what could be causing this??

mr.DUNK 03-15-2014 09:21 PM

10micron right before injectors?

LS-S DA9 03-15-2014 09:33 PM

Main filter right before fuel rail is 10 micron. And for it to burn the same injector almost immediately doesn't seem like clogging

mr.DUNK 03-15-2014 09:41 PM

Sounds like a ecm or wiring problem

LS-S DA9 03-15-2014 09:50 PM

Possible alternator?? Ill post my video in the morning. . Hoping to have my new ecu tomorrow and after that testing my alternator... if that is good I'm ordering a tucked harness and wasting another $130 on another injector
