Slicks

what are some good rims to run slicks on?

ILIKETODRIVE 01-10-2011 08:18 AM

Depends on what size slick you plan on running.

I know Lenso makes some good, light wheels for drag racing. 13x7's and so on and so forth...

whats a good size slick for a itr 15 inch rim?

Agent Smith 01-10-2011 11:24 PM

get better wider wheels...

ILIKETODRIVE 01-11-2011 10:14 AM

/\ This.

95% of ITR wheels (DC2 at least) are only 15x6. You're going to want at a minimum a 15x7.

IMO, if you're getting real 'slicks' for drag racing and only have Civic or LS/GSR brakes, get Lenso 13x7's (they clear Civic and non Type-R Integra brakes) and get some 22x8x13's.

...OR buy these:

i cant run those wheels.. i have itr 5lug on my car.. or else i would of bought his rims..

If you have a 5 lug its going to be a much smaller choice.

Exospeed Star 8's is what you should get!
