Wheel stripping
 

Hey guess my clear coat got destroyed on my wheels and I was wondering what all I need to do to strip the clear and get it resprayed. Has any one done this?

I used aircraft stripper, but it needs to be hot out to work properly. If you want to spend some money. Get them sand blasted. Paint chip too. I would suggest powder coating, I got mine done for $210ish, that includes sand blasting.

I have sandblasted my self before so that may be an option. Where did you get your powder coating done? Also I like how my wheels are they where silver but the sun fading clear coat made them white

I think they charge $50 or $40 per wheel up to 20inches? Call them. They are fast too, did a great job on my wheels.

If you dont wanna powder coat them polish them.
