air ride for fit.

Kahuna 12-16-2011 06:49 PM

Do it!!!.....Air ride is quite fun to have!!! I Believe I talked to you at the severed truck show!

FranktheTank 12-17-2011 09:17 AM

ksport air ride ftw

dudeinpinkfit 12-18-2011 02:49 PM

I was looking at that kit but the price is way more.

FranktheTank 12-18-2011 05:32 PM

the price is way more because its good suspension. Get it, then track it, you will see how superior it is if you have ever driven in another car with an air ride kit

dyeabolical 12-18-2011 08:45 PM

Sounds lame.

How do you plan on flaring fenders?

Where will you put your tanks?

Is your family being evicted from your car? Lol

96rrated 01-02-2012 03:01 AM

like it!!!

*DRE* 01-03-2012 09:23 AM

doo it! i love slammed fits! haha
its soo uncommon for someone to do anything to a fit i think its a good idea

dudeinpinkfit 01-03-2012 09:27 AM

It's hard to slam a fit and it seems air suspension is the only way. Also gonna camber the rear wheels. Trying to go -.5 .

Th3 Mugen 01-03-2012 12:06 PM

Just gonna leave this here ^^

hondafan 01-03-2012 04:22 PM

god those wheels a so gay..put the link above in the rice of the day thread

PENTAGRAM_OF_EVIL 01-04-2012 10:07 PM

i say do it but buy cylinder not bags, and i am so down to help you ..

i failed didnt know that link was up

Big C 01-04-2012 11:19 PM

Air Runner is overpriced for what you get. My good friend bought a set for his LS400 and the top mounts didn't even line up. He had to drill his stock holes out :/

Ksport you get much more for your money.

I ain't just saying that cause I work @ Ksport. It really is a better system for the money.

PENTAGRAM_OF_EVIL 01-04-2012 11:27 PM

not trying to talk shit about KSport (as you can buy full kits for half the price) but how many kits have you sold, the only reason i say cylinders is cause the room, and its 35 dollars for a rebuild, you wont ever have to worry about a bag blowing out, but you must run at least two accumulator.

Big C 01-05-2012 12:22 AM

We've sold several hundred air kits. Way more than how many Air Runner kits are in the US I know that for sure.

Yeah you can piece together a kit for less if you want to (there are a million options for air ride set ups). Ksport kits are not for people that want the cheapest set up possible. Ksport kits are for the average Joe that wants a simple bolt-on system with the flexibility of adjustable damping shocks and adjustable lower mounts to fine tune their ride height vs air pressure. This set up allows for basically any type of ride quality you can imagine. Some of the more expensive Ksport kits require almost no wiring at all (4 wires) and the entire system can be controlled by a OLED remote that charges while in your car. It doesn't get any easier than that.

My main point is Ksport is a better option than Air Runner because you get more features for the same money or less.

dudeinpinkfit 01-05-2012 05:38 PM

i like what i hear!!!! pm sent

mooshin 01-05-2012 06:23 PM

There you go Jake. Ksport is local too. Makes it a lot lot easier to get questions answered or support for that matter.

dudeinpinkfit 01-05-2012 06:37 PM

Oh ya. That is a huge plus.

Bigg Brown 01-06-2012 06:22 PM

Do you plan to lay the body kit? or have it an inch off the ground like the blue one in the pic?
You have to tuck wheel if you put it on air.
I'd recommend going to the website I am on, streetsource.com to get more advice from people who have bagged cars....

dudeinpinkfit 01-06-2012 09:14 PM

mooshin 01-06-2012 11:49 PM

How does it look from the rear. That's what I want to know.

Bigg Brown 01-07-2012 01:50 PM

Time to get to some real modifications and put an IRS in it
You cant bag it unless it lays and tucks...

dudeinpinkfit 01-07-2012 11:38 PM

Bigg Brown 01-08-2012 02:12 AM

Just buy a truck and bag it, the FIT is done. Its good, its fantastic, its cool. Time to move on, you need something for the whole family. Why do you think I got an Excursion? For the family man!
Next project!

dudeinpinkfit 01-08-2012 11:53 AM

I do want to get a tahoe or suburban to have as a project like u so I can tow my cars. But that won't be for years. Maybe if I had a job like u..... Hint hint....

Bigg Brown 01-08-2012 12:05 PM

I put 5 years in before I starting making good money at UPS.
And my wife doesnt work, so you guys probably make close to me, put in that OT!!!

dudeinpinkfit 01-08-2012 12:27 PM

We don't get Ot cause we are commission.

Bigg Brown 01-08-2012 12:28 PM

Well guess your better half has to pull the OT

mooshin 01-08-2012 10:07 PM

I think the color of this particular car helps it look less drastic than it really is. I agree with your idea of not going to crazy with the flares. These look a bit too much in my opinion.

berny2435 01-09-2012 08:38 AM

Ha so when it's not slammed it looks like shiat Mexican Taco truck?

I realy dig the Mugen kit though!! I'm not a big fan of those wheels on it either. I think a some Work Equip 01 or Meister S1 5 spokes would have been a better choice.
