Wastegate Troublez
 

My wastegate got stuck slightly open after running the car hard at the track, was able to get it closed but its stuck. Its a Turbonetics Evolution. Anyone know how to correct this issue?

get rid of it and get a Tial.

Problem solved. The gate wasn't properly lubricated so it seized from the heat, I will probably end up getting a new valve for it and keep her nice and slick.

the valve should never need lube. the lube will just burn off.

Save your motor while you can.. sell that thing to some ricer with turbo dreams and invest in a good quality WG.

Well shit, maybe I will just take that route. I was looking at a Turbosmart one I really like.

and don't forget to set your boost cut :)
