Your actually kind of lucky to get this type of ticket. I was in a situation where I was looking for this before. Waste of finate resources actually just carries a lower fine than speeding and to my knowledge actually carries no points. For a person with a history of tickets who can't take the class this can be a blessing and a way for an officer to get his point across for you to slow it down. Only the old school cops really use this ticket and it can only be given on freeways.Anyway good luck with your ticket.

Yep, its $50. I was driving back from Tucson one night and i got pulled over by DPS for speeding, was doing 76 in 65 i believe. But he turned out to be cool and just cited me for "waste of finite resource". No points at all. Whew! lol :biggrin:

either way , you have to call out from work possibly .. and waster your time there.

High fine for this I have fond in a two minute search was 79.00 dollars

Could you imagine what my Batmobile's "waste of infinite resources" ticket is?

Nope...they mail you a citation, you send in the $$$. Easy as that.
I've gotten one before so I'm speaking from experience.

Unfortunately it isnt a "get outta speeding Free" deal...but it definitely would be nice to have that Lawyer on speed dial to offer CORRECT and LEGAL Advice wouldnt it? Everyone on here thinks they know the law because their brothers-friends-cousins-exboyfriends-brotherinlaws- sister went thru the same thing.

I dont know if Scott has cornered the market on the Legal Shield on here....But if he hasnt chimed in...look up the facts.
