Thanks Gabe, I'm just curious to see if it would pass tech with the NASA AZ guys. What are your of thoughts of it? Like is it safe or functional?

Without being able to see the weld penetration and check to make sure that the tubes are welded a full 360 degrees around the circumference of the joint it's kind of tough to comment on the safety aspect.

I'm sure it's stiffened up the chassis quite a bit, so from that standpoint it's functional.

joweeee

glad to see you are still around!

How about the diameter of the diagonal bar? it's one inch in diameter. As far as complete welds, there are over 8 areas that aren't completely welded... So I guess that's a fail... Thanks for the info! I Have a few more pics I'll post later tonight.

Fix it again tony :wave1:

That's no bueno man. I know it's not what you probably want to hear, but could you cut it out and sell it to someone who may be looking for something for more of a show car build and take the money and put towards a roll bar or roll cage with property diameter tube and better quality welds? Would be much safer in the event of an accident.
