motor mounts bolt size

as the title states i need the motor mount bolt sizes so i can get my ls into my ef. when i bought the motor i didnt even think to ask for these. Im stuck until i can get them. If n e one know these sizes let me know if not i may end up at a few junkyards but prefer to get em at a hardware store somewhere.

transmission side is M12x95mm, engine block side is M12x101mm but anything over 100mm would work, rear mount has a M12x115mm again anything over 115 would work but the rear mount bolt is tapered to help thread it usually.

if you're talking about the ones that attach the mounts to the motor those are as follows;

the two bolts that hold the post on the driver side of the block are M10x60 and one M10x40.

the bolts that hold the bracket to the transmission are 2x M12x25 and M12x34 with a nut on the other side which would be an m12 nut.

Thank you Statik and ED6 this helps soooo much. Quick question, how do you know these sizes, not that im trying to insult you but i searched for an hour and couldnt find anything. Did you just know or do you have a certain manuel?

you can look at diagrams on those sites for the bolt sizes and match the number they list to the part number in the list below them for the actual part description. all of those bolts in the engine bay that are M12 have a 17mm head on them and can be found at junkyards pretty commonly. the M10 will have a 14mm head on it.

most honda thread pitch is 1.25 so that is correct.

bash_ceballos 04-17-2011 10:23 AM

I believe its a 14 mm bolt or 15mm

die in a dick fire noob 04-17-2011 10:34 AM

we already told you the sizes?

there is no 15mm bolt on a honda.

Projekt_ED6 04-17-2011 12:08 PM

It is a 14mm not a 15mm and the thread size is 1.25
