Thanks! I'm shooting a very nice Z tonight. He just took home a trophy from Midnight Run. I'll be sure to get lots of good shots. Maybe get some more print coverage out of it :D

But seriously, is it just me, or are mags printed on crap paper these days? I remember when I used to read SCC... I haven't bought a sport compact mag since like 2006, maybe 05, and when I picked up Modified I was appalled. I could see through the pages!

Times are hard these days....unfortunately, even they are not immune to it. I'm just thankful they didn't fold like a few other mags.

Yeah, the economy AND the explosion of the Internet as a resource for car people have really screwed magazines.

It seems like the only import mag that is doing "well" is DSport.

The vintage racecar mags I read are thriving however, but thats a whole different demographic.

yeah mags like Hot Rod and the like still do just fine. I would rather get into a mag like that then get into something like Import Tuner. Well. at the end of the day, i'd take any mag haha.
