Speedometer not working! P0500!
 

Been having this problem for awhile, changed my vss with known working one, also cluster with known working one. Anyone good with wiring! I think that might be my problem because I do see some unattached wires in the back of my cluster!

Anyone please! I gotta brand new d sereis headgasket kit for free! If you can get the P0500 to dissappear, also this is on an EJ8

Have you tryed resetting the ecu? Or checking for any fried wires leading to the vss? But before all that try connecting the loose wires you see in the back and any fuses...

Yes I have obd2 scanner. I must've confused you, I meant there were some wires that look like they were butt connected. That's why I was asking if anyone knows how to wire

Turns out both of the VSS I had were bad, fixed it now.
