Once again
my problems of my ef were gone until yesterday. it idles really bad i mean really bad it almost dies. i got a check engine light and the codes are.
1 Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) 7 Throttle Position (TP Sensor) 14 Idle Air Control (IAC Valve) 16 Fuel Injector now this morning it started up fine and when i hit the throtle it started to idle bad and just died. but no check engine light its on . i checked everything from cap and rotor, wires,sparkplugs, fuel pump, fuel filter. and all seems to be working fine. its my problem all this things? if anyone has dualpoint injectors hit me up i need some i guess i.:( |
i would go with the iacv if you dont have another one to put on then clean that bitch out...put it at the end of a water hose and watch it go!!!

that will take the gunk thats causing the problem out better then water |

not sure but if am correct its a pm5 ..... am carb cleaning the shit out of the iacv right now hopes it works

...Well you sure you plugged the right plugs in,the coolant temp plug is the same and the injector plug..There 3 plugs on a dx harness that are the same

well its all stock dual point never moved the ecu

i used water and thats done it!!! you can use whatever you feel like...carb cleaner would work...im jus sayin!!!

i did water and carb lol and no change i replace it and no changei replace the tps and no change i think it can be my injector

I have a spare D15B2 in the backyard all its missing is the headgasket and dizzy cap (its cracked) you can get parts off it if you want. I'm getting rid of it soon along with the chassis. Pm me if ur interested

i put injector cleaner in the morning and drove it most of the day today... lets see what happends

hey bro I'm having the same with my b16. it'll start fine but as soon as I give it gas it idles like crap then eventually dies. but now it doesn't want to start. I'm thinking my injectors too.

how did you replace the tps? to spec? or just bolt one on?

my last tps was to spec i took it to the shop but this one i just replace i just bolt it on and change a little now it dosent die but still idles really bad am taking it to thge shop to have it bolt on to spec righ now

try your tps firts its the easiest. disconect it when its idleing bad if it changes then its your tps.

your tps needs to be adjusted by volts not by how it idles... .47v closed and 4.83v open...

ok got my tps to spec and yea they used a volt measure machine look alike and they did everything. It help but my idle still bad. they said that my t belt might be off time. just replace o2 and IAC Valve. and still throwing the same codes .
