b18a1 questions!!!!
 

just picked up a b18a1 for 40$ to night and have a few questions is this a good motor? also what is it? is it the ls?? i dont know much about honda motors so any help will be awsome...
it is going in to a 92hatch what would be the best billd with it as in trany and head?? um anyother help would be good i just have a block starting from that... thanks....

ls vtec would be nice, and yes its the "ls" motor...the older on that was from 90-93 in the DA chassis.

b16 tranny and a b16 or gsr head would be really fun to fuck with.

but for 40 bucks it has to be stolen. lolz

um the guy that i got it from said that he did a motor swap for some kid.. and the kid gave him his old block the one that i have now...so it was just laying around his house and he just wanted to get rid of it cuz he has no use for it..

well lets hope its not stolen, you can find out by calling the loca police department at their non emergency phone number.

and i would suggest reading up ALOT about swapping motors before you do anything. you dont even know what a b18a1 is.

$40?? just buy a better one and use that one for parts. Like B18B so you dont have to find the right manifold and sensors for the eg.

40 buks sounds 2 good 2 b true! but best thing 2 do is a ls vtec thats wat i got!
