98 civic dx 5spd d16y7(stock) wont rev passed 3000 rpm after a while it just turns off anybody know what it could be??

The only code that shows up is for a bad o2 sensor...

Going to replace it tomarrow hopfully it works..i had a few ppl tel me it could be the ecu?
