And why is that?

FranktheTank 10-12-2011 11:37 PM

ill bet 95 bucks that the slave is fine.
There is a TSB out for the plunger seal in Clutch masters cylinder. they begin to leak and not hold good pressure. WHich makes the pedal soft and squeak sometimes.

Easiest solution to the problem, Omni Power Clutch master cylinder for $130 or so bucks

CAPTAIN CAAAAAAAVEMAN 10-13-2011 03:03 PM

if there is a TSB doesnt that mean the dealer will fix for free?

What exactly do you mean hella lost... Never really worked with 8 gen...

FranktheTank 10-16-2011 12:48 PM

no ( yes if the car is still under warranty)

its the clutch master cylinder. this is what you need

Whiteman51x 10-16-2011 08:29 PM

id check to see if its under warranty first, then ask of there is a recall, if not, it shouldnt be hard to fix, and i dont see anybody charging you a large amount to do it.

I would roll with the omnipower unit, all honda is doing is replacing with th same part,it will fail again, I blew 2 master cylinders in a 45 day span.

Im rockin an omni power made a big difference on my shifting and don't have no issues did it in my 2 door and did it in my 4 door.
