b20 vs b18 sleeved

i wanna build an all motor engine but im not sure where to start. I know I'm gonna put a stroker kit in it and have like 13.5 compression and a built to hell head. should i buy a gsr and sleeve it to a 2.0 and then build it from there or sleeve the b20? also how much does it cost to get a block's stock sleeves punched out?

I'd go GSR and sleeve then bore to 84mm. I built a 12.5:1 B20V stock sleeves pro2s etc etc made 233whp . Revved it to 8600 rpms and went 12.3 @ 114 mph

It depends on how big you want to go. I plan on building a 400 HP all motor no nitrous monster using a b20 bottom end bored out to a 2.2 with a completely built either B16 or B18 head to get wicked high compression. Depends on what you want and your budget and time frame.

BTW did you make a decision? Sorry for bringing back such an old post people.
