hesetation while driving
 

sup azht just bought a 92 eg stock d15b7
being having a problem while driving
i drives fine for a while then sometimes it hesitates i press the gas pedal an takes about 10 sec and then it drives fine its a intermident problem

im ethier thinking its the distribitour or the main relay

any info will help lmk

If the problem was the dizzy or the main relay you would have a no start condition not hesitation... does it have a CEL code?

Sounds like fuel pump might be giving out

Someone probably put some twix in the gas tank

no cel light on today i was driving and the car stalled on me all it was doing was crank no start. took like 3 mins then i press the gas pedal and car started right up

Timeing is prob off get yourself a timeing light and check it

whats your fuel pressure at? you checking at the rail or just before the fuel filter
check for spark on all cylinders.

Check plugs, test icm and coil.

This^^^ lean towards ignition/spark if youre getting consistant fuel pressure. If your ignitor/coil is going itll will cause the hesitation and misfiring when it gets too hot. It will also cause the car to not want to start until it cools off enough.

I had this type of problem. Id check the dizzy rotor inside the cap. The screw tha holds the rotor may have backed out alittle. Jus a suggestion.

Well went to emissions today it fail on carbon monoxide . I check the dizzy looks to work fine but rotor looks shity I'm thinking cuz rotor is bad I wasn't giving a strong spark to do a good air fuel mixture possible I was throwing more fuel than spark

well took to emissions it pass all it was the rotor replace it an now runs way smoother an no more
hesesation.
