rattle canned car,

Wet sand it start with 1000 grit
i was also told that thinner works well but, i need to work out arm before taking one the job. lol
i'll start with 1000 grit and see what happens. if i can paint over it than i'll just go down to napa and buy priemer and oem color, then go to town on a fresh paint job. |
If you do go with thinner...Only wipe in one direction and depending on what kind of thinner you use...Stay away from the rubber...The thinner may melt it.
Aircraft paint stripper ;)
the thinner i plan on using is the same as what i use to clean my spray gun, so it may be rubber safe. I will try to stay away from rubber though.
i only want to remove the spray paint, not leave it bare metal. lol |
Shitty oven cleaner
i already bought some, lol. i went to the dollar store and spent $50 on oven cleaner. Clerk just looked at me weird.
ill paint it! :P
lol, i got this shit..
Try acetone (I think that's how you spell it.) I use this stuff at work and it took off spray paint that I used. You can get it at ace I think
600 or 500 grit wetsand! 1000 will be too much work.. I stripped my trunk it was black and made it look electron blue .
I would post pics but dont know how lol |
photobucket.com buddy. i'd like to see the results.
60 grit will work :)
That's crazy, so crazy it might just work!
Ill probably do a mixture of oven cleaner and what usdmcivic did.
Just to be clear.. After youre done the clear will be gone.. Theres probably a way to keep the lear with a finer grit though like 800 or something.. I wish i had more pics to show you it leaves the paint kind of dull |
i understand the clear would be gone,
now, I was woundering if i can paint over the spray paint? I would have to scuff it up. Then, premiered so i can paint it using automotive paint. |
