don't have any input to help you other than I installed the same coil overs on my ap2 with no problems

Take pictures of the top hat and a picture of the strut hitting the control arm. Thanks

Did you have any issues with it hitting the upper control arm I also have to use a jack to jack up the wheel to get the front lca close to the bottom of the strut to put the bolt in

Attachment 76893This is a sample picture but my coilovers perches hit the upper arm
And won't allow me to move them down

Attachment 76894 this exactly what's happens wen I install them upper arm comes on contact with perches on coilovers and sits way to close to the coilover it self

Are u sure they're for a s2000? Just sayin...

EG6 08-10-2014 04:29 PM

That's what I'm seriously wondering because I ordered them from a site I've never ordered from because they had them for the cheapest price they only thing that tells me there for my cars are the stickers on the box that say ap1 s2000 and have the part number

MIRANDA88 08-11-2014 01:54 AM

Ek coilovers

*inFamous* 08-11-2014 03:22 AM

Those look awfully weird for 2k parts. Where did you order them from?

EG6 08-11-2014 11:32 AM

Those are not pics of actual coilovers but that's the exact problem I have wen I tried installing them and I ordered them from thsmotorsports

EG6 08-11-2014 12:58 PM

Also would worn out upper control arm bushings cause this to happen ?

H22apower 08-11-2014 02:21 PM

Thmotorsport is legit.
Bought countless items from that company.

How are your bushing and ball joint?

EG6 08-11-2014 08:35 PM

Maybe I'm just installing them wrong and they are pretty worn

H22apower 08-11-2014 09:15 PM

Are they labeled as left and right? Look for the l and r.
Gnarly Ball joints and bushings can also make this happen.

EG6 08-12-2014 12:27 PM

No they are not at least I nun on boxes they came in and you think that's my problem ?

Chuck Chainz 08-12-2014 12:54 PM

Reversed uca's?
Left on right and right on left? If even possible.

EG6 08-13-2014 08:58 AM

I only have this problem on the front

Chuck Chainz 08-13-2014 09:06 AM

Right, what in saying is... Is the right hand uca on the right side and the left hand uca on the left side?

How do these coilovers look compared to others?

*inFamous* 08-14-2014 12:09 AM

You didn't try to put the front on the back by accident did ya :)

EG6 08-14-2014 10:38 AM

lol oh no I did not haha I'm dumb but that dumb lol

EG6 08-14-2014 10:39 AM

You think the worm out bushing could be givin some play to upper arm and that's why it sits so close to it ?
