1.8L Question
Am I correct?
B18C1 & B18C5 are the same block. B18C1 & B18C5 have the same rods. B18C1 & B18C5 have the same crank. Im looking at the shop manual and per the specs it all looks the same. Is there a difference other then the head? |
C5 rods and cranks are a bit lighter from the factory(nothing you will notice) They are the same length as the C1's so they are interchangeable.
yup! ^^
The ITR crank is also balanced closer to 0 than the GSR from factory. Used one in my NA build a few years ago and took it to 10k a few times with no problems:tits::tits:
Thank you that is what I though.
C5 is just a hair more refined in many aspecs, but as far as specs, totally interchangeable
