Limp mode 89 sedan *help
 

I been having this problem with my civic it won't rev past 3k rpms! I took it to a friend of mine he said it was my distributor so I changed that and it's still doing the same thing? I need HELP PLEASE! Any advice or past post i can look at. Will I need to buy a new ECU?

PS to OP: you need to not ask your friend for help if thats the first thing he told you to do was throw a big expensive part at it.
