time spent shagging cones > seat time = pretty much the reason I quit autocrossing and switched to lapping events.

Count me in! Going to register in a bit.

Register early so I have time to find workers. If I have 40 people registered 3 days before the event and then all of a sudden get 20 more registrations in the last two days I doubt I'll have enough time to find enough workers! If you don't want to shag, cones (not that big of a deal IMO) then register early!

damn well if car doesnt make it to sedona run.. then im willing to work for some seat time..

ugh... still heart wrenching sedona or this, lady friend will come up to sedona but not the track :( but I'd rather be on track...

coo, plenty of time b/t now and then to get the numbers up. hopefully this event sees 100+. I want NASA X to succeed. NXE and NXF cars do need some adjusting though as some STX cars can't even get 1/2 prepped before faster miatas and ST cars enter into their classes with full mods.. . time will tell.

I'm the only D car so far? Hmm.....

well, I could bump myself up to your class lol! No way I'm going to be any sort of competition for the 15+ year vetran in a ST prep 91 civic Si or the Celica GT in NXE unless a couple straights will get me a 1.5 second advantage. At least that's gauging myself off of FIR west results and if they don't run R comps eeek!

it's all about having FUN :) I have always had fun on track, even on the bad days when something breaks, it's always lots of fun.

Is it cool to come watch ? I want to attend ,but first get a feel for it by watching ?

I was interested in signing up but it says no "begginners/ 1st timers". I've never auto-x'ed before and wanted to try it out.

Keep in mind that NASA will be offering a Hyperdrive program at PIR in Nov. As a beginner you are eligible to participate in that. 40 bucks gets you on track with an instructor in the car w/ you.
