what kind of 4 channel amp should i get to amplify my four door speakers

You don't need awhole lot of amps for door speakers. Maybe like. 750watt or even a 1000 depending on the type of speakers you put in. If the speakers aren't top of the line go with a 750watt if not less.

If you got a few lying around try em out and see what sounds the best.

I would say at the most a 750watt. And the lowest is a 500watt. With the 750 you can turn down the settings and make it sound wonderful, as with the 500. You would almost have to crank that son of a bitch all the way to get them to hit full potential.

I would look with something with around 500 rms. Or a 700-900 watt amp. You could get a 1,000 watt amp but that would be pushing it.

Always look at RMS because the RMS is the spot where the speakers are loudest and still sound good

Cheap amps don't last. You pay for what you get.

I had a shitty 600watt 4 channel amp and after a week of bumping, blew all the channels and popped a fuse.

So I would go with something not so cheap. But you don't have to go hella expensive either cause there for your door speakers.

Cheap amps CAN last if you buy the right "cheap" amps.

I would say to look at some Crunch amps. You can get them relatively cheap. I haven't really heard anything bad about them either

Crunch? WOW.....Amplifiers should be matched to the maxx power handling of the speakers..EX- if you have 2 sets of speakers (4 speakers) and their combined maxx handling is 960 watts (240 watts each) and you pick up a four channel amp thats 900-1000watts maxx you'll have matched the speakers

To be honest it doesn't really matter what type of amp u get for your mids and highs just find something that is around the max output of your speakers and tune it to your liking it's not like your gonna be pushing mad bass through you door speakers I have a Pioneer 1200 watt 4 channel hooked up to my doors and 1 12" Rockford and sounds tits nothing huge but I matched the output of all my speakers and I can promise u my system sounds better then most people that just hook up a few 12's to an amp and turn it on!

Honestly you don't need alot of power for the 4 channel amp. Quality is much more important then wattage in this area.

I have a Directed 4 channel amp that I can part with for $75 if you are interested. LMK.

They max out at 80 watts RMS, and have 4 ohm Voice Coils. So get on ebay and find something that matches. 80 watts x 4 channels.

And here you go, a quality amp at a legit price MB Quart DSC 480 (google it).

4x80 w RMS @ 4 ohms. EXACTLY what you need to match these speakers to the amp.

@Soundcreations, is the "WOW" about Crunch good or bad? If its bad, you clearly havent run any of their product. Maxxsonics is doing a great job with Hifonics, MB Quart, Autotek and Crunch.

My WOW was because I haven't heard anyone talk about CRUNCH in a long time..

If you can find one, McIntosh made a 4x50w car amp that sounded amazing...they have been a really good value on the 2nd hand market.
