best tunning place....

who is a good tunning place for a good price.....perferably dyno tune but can be a street tune......

turbo4dr 11-21-2009 11:25 PM

xactdyno or locash, look in vendor section.
what are you planning to tune on?

PhoenixB16 11-22-2009 09:39 AM

Locash or UMS. Only thing that really blows about UMS is the fact that they will tune s300,but nothing lower.

KeRmEt 11-22-2009 10:06 AM

well my ecu as of right now is a chipped p28 tuned on chrome and im in the procces of putting a fresh LsVtec in and need it retuned...

that one guy 11-22-2009 11:14 AM

whats your budget? I know a guy that does cheap street tunes lol

FranktheTank 11-22-2009 11:16 AM

that makes me want to gooo to him:smackself:
get it on a dyno or light it on fire

PhoenixB16 11-22-2009 11:52 AM

I doubt Locash will touch Crome. Maybe he will chime in and confirm....That said, your options may be pretty slim.

KeRmEt 11-22-2009 11:58 AM

im on a pretty slim budget thats why im asking....

ICD 11-22-2009 09:31 PM

you dont need a tune..

KeRmEt 11-22-2009 10:43 PM

what makes you say that..

turbo4dr 11-23-2009 04:24 PM

Or start doing some research and sit-in a few dyno sessions, pgmfi.org is a nice place to start.

onesik_ej6 11-23-2009 05:16 PM

buy s300 or even a s200 and get tuned at xactdyno they will do it for 300 hundred they do great work

We street or dyno tune. We also offer tuning on Chrome, Hondata or Neptune. We are very competitively priced too!

KeRmEt 11-23-2009 07:42 PM

what do you guys charge for street tune and dyno...

Built By Notorious 11-23-2009 07:43 PM

What ECU are you running? Is it already chipped?

KeRmEt 11-23-2009 07:48 PM

yea its a chipped p28 tuned on chrome but put a new freshly rebuilt LsV in and right now has a 2 step at 4500 and redline at 8500

Built By Notorious 11-23-2009 07:51 PM

200 for a Street Tune and 300 for a Dyno tune, since you are already chipped. A Street Tune should be fine for your setup if you do not need to know a exact HP number.

KeRmEt 11-23-2009 07:53 PM

i just want the most out of it..

KeRmEt 11-23-2009 07:58 PM

who do i ask for..

Built By Notorious 11-23-2009 08:14 PM

I am Nick. Our tuner is Kenny. He will be in till about 1:30 Call before then if you'd like to speak with him.

locash 11-23-2009 08:54 PM

A street tune would be fine if you dont care if your motor blows up. :)

If you want it tuned correctly, feel free to stop by and check out our equipment, and the many 700-1000hp cars I tune. There is a reason that all of the fastest Honda's are tuned at my shop.

KeRmEt 11-23-2009 08:54 PM

well it might be awhile cause i have to break in the motor first..

KeRmEt 11-23-2009 08:55 PM

yea but im on a budget...

Dead Bird 11-23-2009 09:04 PM

if you don't have money now for proper tuning, don't drive your car yet.

You do not want to drive your call at all until you have the right amount of air/fuel, ignition timing, and everything else involved with tuning done.

If your motor is built right, you started it up one time for a few minutes to check for leaks and any electrical/running problems, don't start it up or drive it anymore. This is the point where it needs to be taken to get tuned. Not broken in. You break it in after it's tuned.

Ask any racer, any real racer. Tuning is just as important as the assembly of the motor itself. Don't weaken the life or performance of the motor because your budget didn't allow for a tune at the proper time

Hey Joe,
Really, really are we going to start this again?
LOL, name one car that we have blown up on the street or at all for that matter! No need to make false statements to make your self look better. Just use real sales skills not BS, it will get ya farther!

KeRmEt 11-23-2009 09:07 PM

The tuners of AZ:

No offense, but if you want a good name as a tuner, you should at least know the actual name of the program. It is Crome, not Chrome. We are talking binary files, not 24 inch rims. Just my opinion; good rates though.

Locash, you have a great reputation. But I don't understand why you would bash on street tunes like that, not everyone has access to a dyno. Nor are street tunes that undependable; many d-series guys are running tens with their street tunes via Crome. My friend has been on his street tune for four years with no problem.
