CRX issues

So I have a CRX with an auto tranny and manual steering rack, I want to put the power steering from an 88-91 civic in, and swap in a manual trans/fix the automatic. Could anyone help me with a parts list of things I need to do the manual swap and power steering swap?

So far I know I need:

Power steering pump
PS bracket
PS rack

Manual trans
Clutch
Pressure plate
Shift linkage

You can grab everything in a days trip to a junk yard

yes cause so many ef in junkyards these days

true but if someone were to want to add power steering they could use any 88-91 power steering setup :devil1: now the question is why in the world you would want to do that and i dont have an answer for that :smileyR:

Simple. A new manual rack is $200 plus, and I can buy new rack and pump for power steering for less then $100. Financially its cheaper to put in PS

and you also need a ps rear crossmember plus lines and all the other associated parts
then all the labor to install said parts
after its all said and done you may save 100 but youve done worked all that off

oh man i can't even imagine the labor in that either, replacing the manual rack is bad enough. Also you can't buy a "new" manual rack for 200, it's likely remanufactured. In addition to this a manual rack is actually closer to 120-150 so i'm not sure where your numbers are coming from...

The power steering thing I can handle, as I have all the parts already now. The manual trans stuff is a bigger concern, as the auto tranny has now begun to shudder when going into 4th gear.
