Transmission will not engage HELP!
 

I was leaving my house and just turned on to the main road and while shifting from 1st to 2nd, i felt a slight jerk. all of a sudden i cannot put any power to the wheels. I coasted back into my neighborhood and almost made it home. I looked at the slave cylinder and it does work properly when i push the clutch in. I did not check to see if an axle popped out...could this be it?

idk if it makes a difference or not but when i leave it in gear while the car is on and no clutch, the speedo will think the car is moving

There is a small puddle of fluid on the groud where my car sits. Size of a basketball. I checked the halfshaft and it has a definite clicking noise when i rotate the wheel hub. If my problem is this axle then is the other one broken too? Or does only the passenger side apply torque to move the car?

sounds like axle came out of trans and a bit of fluid came out as well. what did it turn out to be?

are you sure the puddle wasnt the size of SHEEP BALLS?
