i know some guys use a clean coat and put a drop of black in it and it comes out pretty sick but dont recommend it cause it wont come off and it will give the pigs another reason to pull you over cause the shit dimms out the light a lot

hey, i went through this about a month ago. lol. there are a couple of options i found; you can buy new taillights that already come smoked out, or you can put some vynily on it (dont recomend it as it will be dark as hell), or you can paint them which is what i did. i went to space age paint on country club rd and broadway (i think) and they mixed up a fresh batch of spray paint for me. the one thing i DO recomend is DONT PAINT AT NIGHT lol. yea...they came out a lil darker then i wanted them to be but its cool. since im living at an apartment complex the sun faded the color a little bit and it stayed and now its perfect! lol anyways, the can only costed i think like $10 which wasnt bad. i'll try to get some pics up of how they look right now. lmk what you guys think.

Looks good! I can see what you mean by painting at night and having them be darker than you wanted them to.

That type of paint can be found on ebay for like 25 dollars.

you can use tint or night shade aerosol, but the best way is to use clear with some black paint in it
