axle question

Is there a difference between b series axles. . for civics and integras..?? I always thought they were the same.

Let me explain why I ask...

I had purchased a passenger side axle awhile back, said it was b series, had a ls trans, and never had a problem. .. I put a b16 trans in my car and I got a slight shake/wobble when I shift into 2nd and 3rd... I believe it's a "integra" axle because I got a new tranny seal and asked for a 2000 si but it wouldn't sit tight on my axle... so I took it back and brought my axle and tried a few different ones and the integra axle seal fit perfect... so what I'm asking is, is there any difference in lengths on the axles..

Also I noticed when I try to put my axle in, it only let's it go in so far (it goes in as far as it will let it), and sits kinda loose, when I had the ls trans it wouldn't move like that and appeared to go in a little further..

Could it be my axle or my differential in my b16 trans?.. I got no grinds or pop outs but something don't seem right.. any help??

What could cause my problem? Could my differential be fucked up?

But if you say integra and civics have the same axle.. why did the si trans seal not fit the axle itself , i had to get a integra axle seal

I've had problems with autozone axles not even being close to fitting.

That is weird. I mix and match axles all the time. B16, small spline ls, big spline b16, never had a problem.

Same shit.. still got a 1/8 to a 1/4 inch gap.. could the spline be too long? I went to vato zone and got another axle and it's doing the same shit
