I've been wanting to build this for a long time now. I got the motor years back and the materials a couple. Picked up some suspension forks for nothing and said it's time to do this. The frame will be a 4130 cromoly set up with a Honda 5.5 hp motor. A simple centrifugal clutch and some bmx wheels. It should be light enough to scoot. And the handlebars, I'll pick up at Bob's used cycle or something like that. Hopefully this comes together and I'll update as I go.

This is to give you an idea of what it'll look like.

Almost done with Raul's drag car. Just workin the past couple nights on this intake scoop. The main goal is to make this face plate that can block air from passing around the scoop that may cause drag. I mean he has a Callos front end and it would look funny without this.

lol, sounds like something I would say.

This bike should be quite quick with 5.5 hp. I would guess about about 30 mph tops with it geared for good low end. With a CVT it would go even faster. Can you say deatrap?

I this bike going to get a snow conversion?

haha

I went ahead and did a little welding. I cut my head tube to length and machined the ends nice and neat. I cut a couple of gussets to strengthen the two piece top tube(had limited pieces). Cleaned up all the welding surfaces and proceeded to weld.

Next, I'll pick up a clutch and rear wheel and figure the drive set up. Also, I'll have my boss cnc plasma the rear drop outs so I'll be able to finish the rear.

Thanks guys. I just painted the forks black and I may get the rear dropouts cut tomorrow. Fingers crossed. If not I'll just cut em out by hand.

Thanks "AZHP King".

This pics are from months ago. Tired of the usual clip on Broadway mirror, so I decided to make this housing out of aluminum. Kind of like an endtank. Then painted it with some good stuff from "Painter"Jeff.

For sure. If you're into welding it's one of the best trades to learn. Have at it man.
