Just a personal opinion... but why wouldnt you want to do a port and pollish and such while you have the head all apart.... i believe and i may be wrong but you should not have to change injectors with a good tune it should run fine... BUT youll probly get a better range of power if they are changed im sure it effects tunability to some extent....

What compression is your motor? You do not need a port&polish, it would drop right in..
Site says, all that is required is springs/retainers..

Well yea if i have the extra funds why not, but if its not absolutely needed then it works on my budget.

i believe stock its 9:2:1. So far i jus got i/h/e, im, 70mm tb, fuel rail, fpr. Dnt know if compression will change cuz of that. but anyways better for me on my budget if all i need is valves, springs, retainers, n tune.

Says you don't even need valves.. Just springs & retainers..
I was wondering about your comp, so I can put a little insight on the injectors question.. The stocks will be fine

I say P&P the head, springs and retainers, cam and gear, and drop to a 2 layer gasket to help bring comp up.. what manifold do you have.

whats the point of getting a cam if you compression is sub 11:1? the power gains for the price and work is going to be horrible.

You don't need to pull the head to do the springs retainers and cam. Just seems like extra money and work for maybe 10 hp if that. On top of that if you're not taking it to someone that knows what they are doing it will most likely hurt power.

This

You need compression to make use of anything aftermarket on a d if you're staying na. Stock 240cc injectors will get you through anything you can make on a d na on gasoline.

Reason you want to waste money on injectors your motor would never make use of?
